Resort Studio 1 – Renovation

For this full renovation of a resort studio in Mooloolaba, we began with a complete transformation of the bathroom. The existing spa bath was removed and replaced with an enclosed semi-frameless shower recess. The bathroom underwent a full strip-out, including tile bedding, and was updated with a new waterproofing membrane, tiled shower niche, and upgraded plumbing and electrical systems. We installed modern LED downlights, a wall-hung vanity with a stone benchtop, and a new wall mirror cabinet. The bathroom was further enhanced with a new toilet suite, rectified edge porcelain tiles, Highgrove Bathrooms fixtures, and freshly painted ceilings.

In the kitchen, we focused on maximising space and functionality for holiday guests. New kitchen CAD drawings were provided for client approval, and we installed premium stone benchtops, a tiled splashback featuring handmade Italian tiles, soft-close cabinetry, and new appliances. The renovation also included the creation of a new walk-in wardrobe, accessible via the bathroom. The existing wardrobe doors and shelving were removed, and new open shelving with a hanging rail was installed.

Throughout the studio, we removed the outdated popcorn ceilings and applied a smooth white set plaster finish. LED oyster lights were installed, and the entire space received a full internal repaint. The project was completed with the installation of new hybrid timber flooring, giving the studio a fresh, modern look.
