Holiday Unit 5 – Renovation

For this Mooloolaba holiday unit renovation, we transformed the bathroom by removing the existing spa bath and converting the area into a modern enclosed semi-frameless shower recess. The entire space was stripped out, including the tile bedding, and equipped with a new waterproofing membrane. We installed a tiled shower niche, upgraded the plumbing and electrical systems, and added LED downlights for improved lighting. The bathroom now features a wall-hung vanity with a stone benchtop, a new toilet suite, and Highgrove Bathrooms fixtures, all enhanced by rectified edge porcelain tiles and feature tiles on the bathroom and vanity walls. Freshly painted ceilings complete the update.

In the kitchen, we reconfigured the layout to optimise space and functionality, perfect for holiday unit guests. We provided CAD drawings for client approval and installed premium stone benchtops, a tiled splashback with handmade Italian tiles, soft-close cabinetry, and new appliances. The laundry area was revamped with a tiled recess, bi-fold doors, and a stainless steel wash tub. The wardrobes were also upgraded with new sliding doors, along with open shelving and hanging rails.

Throughout the unit, we replaced the outdated popcorn ceilings with a smooth white set plaster finish and installed LED oyster lights for a modern touch. The renovation also included the addition of a split system air conditioner, a full internal repaint, and new hybrid timber flooring, giving the unit a fresh and contemporary atmosphere.
