For this holiday unit renovation in Mooloolaba, we began by transforming the ensuite and bathroom. The existing spa bath was removed, making way for an enclosed semi-frameless shower recess. We completed a full strip-out, including tile bedding, and applied a new waterproofing membrane for durability. The bathroom was further upgraded with a tiled shower niche, new plumbing and electrical systems, and energy-efficient LED downlights. A wall-hung vanity with a stone benchtop, a new toilet suite, and Highgrove Bathrooms fixtures and fittings were installed, all complemented by rectified edge porcelain tiles and freshly painted ceilings.
In the kitchen, we focused on maximising space and functionality, particularly for holiday unit guests. We provided new kitchen CAD drawings for client approval and installed premium stone benchtops, a sleek glass splashback, and soft-close doors and drawers. The kitchen was completed with new appliances.
The laundry was also upgraded with new tiles, a stainless steel wash tub, and sliding doors. Additionally, we modernised the wardrobes by removing the old doors and shelving, installing open shelving with hanging rails, and fitting new sliding doors. Throughout the unit, we removed the existing popcorn ceilings, applied a smooth white set plaster finish, and installed new LED oyster lights. The renovation was finished with a full internal repaint and new hybrid timber flooring, giving the space a fresh and modern feel.
